Goddammit!
It was definitely her voice, ringing through his consciousness; there was no mistaking it.
Lucy!
She was still there, but he was met only with silence and feelings of confusion, bitterness, anger, and, of course, annoyance, which he was slowly starting to realize what just her normal state. Always completely annoyed, with everyone and everything for some reason or another. Even as she was awake in his heador was it her head?he knew that she was always irritated.
But, even as he thought it, weariness edged its way into his consciousness, leaking from her mind, her emotions, into his. Weariness of m
The Mission: Chapter 1
Daniel clutched the note in his hand, feeling lonely, awkward, and completely out of place, not to mention furious. Furious at himself. Furious with his brother. Furious at the world, and at every single girl here on this stupid beach who wouldn't give him a chance. His brother had been right; people judged on appearance far more than they should.
But he had to do what he had to do. Upon opening that first letter, he had agreed that there was no backing out. And, though he was a liar, a cheat, and, admittedly, had been pretty much a scumbag, he was starting over, and he would not back out. So he kept walking, scanning
"Okay then. Use me."
"He'll kill me."

"Haze," I whispered.
He looked uncertain for a moment later. I couldn't believe I was going to do this-but if Haze didn't agree
"Okay," Haze said slowly. "I'll do it."
Strip: Chapter 17
Haze had me lying on my stomach on a blanket in the snow, a stolen steak knife in his hand. David's body was facedown beside me, and I turned my head away; I couldn't bear to look at him, not like this. Not dead. I tried to ignore the soft squelching sounds as Haze worked on the body, trying to cut David - real David - out.
And then, without warning, Haze's hand - eerily warm and damp - touched my sh
Strip: Chapter 16
David shifted where he sat, took a small breath, and nodded. Out of the corner of my eye, I watched Haze lean against the seat, closer to us. I inched away from him.
"You remember the day you and I ?"
"Yeah," I said shortly, rolling my eyes.
"Well. When Hugh and Alexia came home, they were freaked out-"
"Obviously."
"Not for the reason you're thinking," David said patiently. "I talked to Hugh when you were being lead away by Alexia. He told me that there were trackers in the area-"
"That's what Alexia told me," I said impatiently. "You brought them to me."
"No," David said sharply. He shot me a dark look. "I did
Strip: Chapter 15
Just before I felt a dog's teeth sink into my leg, I thought, for just a moment, about David. And I thought about Jack. My last thoughts, my very last thoughts, and they were about my brother, and the man who had betrayed me. How strange. I screamed one last time, and my mind seemed to snap; instinct took over, and I was no longer aware of what my body was doing. And I no longer cared, either.
I vaguely felt the handle of the steak knife bite into my hand as I clutched it. I went down hard, my elbow slamming into the ground, making my left arm tingle. In my right hand, I clutched the knife. For only a second, I was dragged

Bob hopped up beside me and lay on top of the covers, resting his head on the curve of my waist. I tried to keep my mind clear as I drifted off to sleep; I did not want a repeat of the dream Id had earlier. Slowly, I felt myself slipping, going under, and it was peaceful.
It couldnt have been three minutes later that Bob started growling. It stirred me from my almost-sleep, and I reached around to stroke his head. I figured Blizzard had come too close to my room. Bobs growling didnt let up, though. It was a constant, low rumble, something like thunder. It was low and menacing, and made the little hairs o

Chapter 14
With a gasp, David and I jerked away from each other. I sat up immediately, and he did too, but not fast enough; my head nearly cracked against his.
Pain flared through my body at the sudden movement, and I bit back the cry that rose up in my throat. Both of us had rounded, hearts hammering, adrenaline pumping. Alexia was standing in the doorway, looking like she wasnt sure whether or not to be shocked or amused. Hugh, on the other hand, looked confused, and shocked, and completely disgusted.
I couldnt make what happened next make sense in my head. Before I knew it, David had stood up, thrown an angry glance o

Arthur was confused.
He lay strapped to the bed and he stared at the ceiling. Long ago had he stopped struggling; he knew he wasn't going to be heard. He stared at the white ceiling, then at the white walls, then at the white floor. His expression remained emotionless and his eyes remained wide open.
For two days he had refused to sleep.
Why?
Because whenever he closed his eyes, he was greeted with flashes of red and heat. Arthur was confused because they said it was okay. He didn't want to listen but when he held the can of petrol and the matches in his hand, they convinced him.
"Do it, Arthur... you know it is the right thing to do..."

So lately I've been getting like a zillion requests to come back to DA and update Strip. So I decided... why not? I have more spare time now and I've been feeling really creative lately!
The thing is, my writing style has changed a lot and gotten better. So I was thinking... how would you guys feel about me doing a re-write of Strip? I've got it planned out in my head and not much will change, but I think it could be really interesting. The characters and story will me much more developed.
Thoughts on this? Should I give it a shot? And if I did, would you guys still read it?
So I've been doing a lot of reading lately, when I haven't been swamped with school.
And I've been doing a lot of writing [in my head, if that makes sense] lately, when I haven't been swamped with school.
And I just really would like to write something beautiful, one day, like the things I read. I want to write something with characters that grip people, characters that make people cry, make people angry. I want to write the sort of thing that people stand in line at midnight to wait to read. I want to write something that means something special to someone.
I'm just not really sure how to do this yet, and it makes me sad. But I want to do
Okay so I promise I'm still alive and active--I don't want anyone thinking I've gone away! But I have news to share...
After A LOTof thinking... and I mean a lot... so much thinking!!!
Anyways, after a lot of thinking, I've decided to spend some time going back and fixing up Strip, and making it the best it can possibly be, because I decided I'm going to try and get it published. Someday.
But this means a lot of work... I'm literally going to be starting from the beginning again, rewriting each and every single sentence. There will be A LOT of changes--plot changes, character changes, including:
-Place names
-Character names (alm
Just wanted to say I love Love LOVE Strip. It is so dynamic and could easily become a best seller in my opinion. I really think this type of genre is exceptionally popular right now and that many people would enjoy it. I know it may be on hold but I beg you to bring it back and urge you to think of publishing. It has so many strong points that I don't think you would have to adapt it much at all. You're lovely. deviantART muro drawing
